I’ve had an Income Protection policy for around 11 years after taking my 1st mortgage, never thought I’d have to claim on it though. I ruptured my ACL playing football in March 2020, which resulted in several months off work initially, waiting for a operation that was delayed due to COVID. After the operation I needed more time off work and I am still off work to date. Thankfully my Income Protection paid all the money as agreed and Pendragon couldn’t have been more helpful through my claim, answering questions about policy details.
